This is an erotic , contemporary romance from the Montgomery Ink series.  It could be read as a stand alone.
Miranda is the youngest in a large, happy family. She works as a teacher. The only thing she has missing from her life is the love of the man she wants. She has always loved Decker, but he just sees her as a little sister.
Decker comes from a dysfunctional family. His father is a brutal drunk, and his mother puts up with the abuse. Decker is terrified that he is too much like his father. 
He has been like an adopted member of the Montgomery family since he made friends with Griff when they were boys. He wants Miranda but can't betray the family by taking advantage of her.

This is a very sexy story for adults only. No kinks. Decker is a good man with a lot of self doubt. Miranda has got enough self confidence for both of them. They have got some traumatic things to get through in this story.
I do love this Montgomery family. Full of hot sexy men and strong women.
