What goes down at Madame Scarlet’s Carnival?
Madame Scarlet’s carnival is full of secrets, lies, scandals and even murder.
While the carnies entertain you with their amazing skills and Madame Scarlet with her stunning looks, there’s a lot more than meets the eye.
No one knows how old Madame Scarlet is and there are those who suspect she is much older than can be believed. Some say she’s a witch, others say she makes sacrifices and drinks their blood but those are just rumours, aren’t they…?
Madame Scarlet’s Carnival is a collection of seven stories based at the carnival that sits atop the Manor Hill and run by the equally beautiful and mysterious Madame Scarlet.
Rena Marin & S.C. Storm
Rena Marin and S.C. Storm are the best of friends and writing partners. Together they are the authors of The Guardians, The Tempest Isle Series Book One, which was published in 2017 by Zombie Cupcake Press. The continuation of the series is in progress along with several other works. To keep up to date with their current work and day-to-day attempts to learn the ropes, feel free to follow them at the following links.
Jim Ody
Jim was first published in an English School Textbook in 1987. He won a competition to draw a dog-walking machine. Having won an art competition the year before, he felt that at the age of eleven he had peaked and consequently retired from art. For 10 years Jim wrote for a number of websites reviewing and interviewing bands in his own unique way, as well as contributing dark poems and comedic features. Jim likes to write psychological/thrillers that have endings that you won’t see coming. He also favours stories packed with wit.
He has a very strange sense of humour and is often considered a little odd. When not writing he will be found playing the drums, watching football and eating chocolate. He lives with his long-suffering wife and three beautiful children in Swindon, Wiltshire.
Lana Campbell
Author Lana Campbell writes paranormal romance and has a fervent passion for it. Currently, she has three books published in her Forever and a Night vampire series: book one, Forever and a Night, book two, Dark Experiments, and book three, Deadly Secrets. She has a great love for romance novels that started when she picked up her first Harlequin Romance at age fourteen. For years she read romance novels and dreamed of writing one. Finally, she decided to do it, and her first book was published in April of 2016. Lana has three grown daughters. Two live in Springfield, MO, and one lives with her and her husband in Avoca, AR, along with a precocious cat named Felix.
Caitlin L. McCulloch
Caitlin McCulloch is a poet, witty word girl, and authoress extraordinaire. She studied English and Communication at Wayland Baptist University. She has one daughter, and they live in Abilene, Texas. Her other published works include Francine’s New Name, a children’s book, and I Gave You Those Wings, a collection of original poetry.
Jessi McPherson
Jessi lives in Iowa but grew up a military brat, traveling all around with my family. I found writing at a young age and never stopped. She is the mother of two amazing teenagers and the wife of a very loving and supportive husband.
She writes in a few different genres. She loves to widen your imagination and take you on journeys you never thought you’d be on. These aren’t your typical Cinderella stories.
Erin Lee
International bestselling author Erin Lee is a dark fiction/reality author and therapist chasing a crazy dream one crazy story at a time. She is the author of Crazy Like Me, a novel published in 2015 by Savant Books and Publications, LLC, Wave to Papa, 2015, by Limitless Publishing, LLC and Nine Lives, 2016. She’s also author of When I’m Dead, Greener, Something Blue, Freak, Circus Freak, The Ranch, Once Upon a Reality, Take Me as I Am, and 99 Bottles. She also penned Losing Faith, a novella with Black Rose Writing. She is co-author of Black Rose’s The Morning After and too many more to list without awaking her inner killer freak.
With that said, she is also author of the “Diary of a Serial Killer Series,” Momma, which this series is based on, and the “Lola, Party of Eight Series” with Zombie Cupcake Press.
Lee is a co-founder of the “Escape from Reality Series” – a multi-genre, twenty-author, three-year, shared-world series with authors Taylor Henderson and Sara Schoen. Together, the trio has created the fictional town of Escape, Colorado, where authors and readers of all genres come to escape.
Lee holds a master’s degree in psychology and works with at-risk families and as a court appointed special advocate. When she isn’t busy dissecting the human experience, she enjoys escaping from reality through reading and a myriad of crazy adventures that will probably one day get her murdered.
To join her Facebook street team and fan club group, look for Erin Lee’s Crazy Inklings, Crazy Inklings and/or The Outsiders Street Team. If you’re lucky, she may even let you into her secret beta reader team – if you dare… It’s pure madness in there.
Rita Delude
Rita Delude has a Master of Fine Arts in Writing. Her novella, Kaleidoscope, Book Ten in the Escape from Reality Series, will release on February 15, 2018. Coming August 15, 2018 to that series will be Book Seventeen, her novella, Baby Blues. Among her other fiction credits are the short story “Bully” through Feather Dreams Press in their Through Their Eyes anthology and “Aftershock” through Bella Tulip Publishing in their War Cry anthology. She has also published numerous non-fiction magazine articles for education magazines. For nearly two decades, she worked as a journalist and published feature stories and a twice-weekly news column. She spent seventeen years teaching writing at Nashua Community College and retired as a full professor in 2014. She lives in southern New Hampshire with her husband, Ron, and their rescue dog, Daisy.
