Maggie Spencer and her sister have taken over the family house since their grandmother moved to sheltered housing. Maggie is a history buff, and is obsessed with the Laird of clan MacTavish. Her problem is be has been dead seven hundred years. When grandmother's little dog escapes she chases it, and ends up in a stone circle that sends her back in time.
Dominic and his men are on a hunting trip when they find a woman alone. His brother is sure she must be a spy sent from their enemies.
All the characters in this book are great fun. Even the castle siege is funny. Our heroine is not worried about where she has landed, because she has been studying it for years. But her knowledge could get her burned as a witch. Our hero is besotted with Maggie but his world has many dangers. Is she one of them?. I can't wait for Declan's story.
