Dera MacRohan is an Irish rebel. She has been sent away from home by her father as a hostage and to protect her from her chosen people. Her family have been in the employ of English nobles for hundreds of years but The Irish people have had enough of overlords.
Before you start this book get a big box of tissues and a bottle of wine. You will not stop reading until the book is finished and your eyes are puffy. As usual with this author, she takes us right into the hearts of all the characters. Whether it's love or a battle we feel all the emotions with them. Our hero is a confidant man who knows exactly who he is, what he wants and knows he's capable of getting it. Our heroine is about to throw up his biggest challenge yet.
