Curse of the Condor by [Rose, Elizabeth]

Add To

Jetta Fitzgerald comes to the jungles of Peru searching for her missionary brother. She hires Conrado Nievez to take her into the jungle when she realizes he is a friend of her brother's.

Conrado has been raised by a native tribe in the jungle after the death of his parents. He is a loner and has no need for a city girl tagging along. He is known to the tribe as the boy from the prophecy involving a cave of treasure and a condor.

Conrado can't bring himself to tell Jetta that her brother is dead and it was the dart of his blowgun that killed him. But the longer he stalls, the more they start having feelings for each other. And when a dangerous situation occurs, it has them fearing for their lives. The jungle is a dangerous place for two lost souls in more way than one.

Adventure and intrigue are abundant as Jetta and Conrado set out on a journey that will change both of their lives forever, in Curse of the Condor.

Conrado  Nievez has left the jungle for the first time in months , to get supplies.  It's very amusing watching the native children annoying a tourist, until she mentions his name.
Jetta Fitzgerald is determined to search the Peruvian jungle until she finds her brother.  She needs a guide,  and only has one name to look for.  Dare she travel with the wild looking man into the jungle alone???
A wild jungle adventure full of danger and humour.  Our hero carries a terrible secret and a curse.  Not all the danger in the jungle is from the animal kingdom.
A thoroughly enjoyable journey.

Elizabeth Rose is the author of medieval, paranormal, fantasy and contemporary novels. While based on romance, her novels have complex plots, action and suspense. She loves writing bad boy tortured heroes and empowered feisty heroines.

Her books have won rave reviews, and been seen on The History Channel as well as Wild Chicago. She has been a Sapphire Award finalist, and been nominated by Romantic Times for a Reviewer’s Choice Award.

She is also a freelance artist and photographer, and has designed and created all her own e-book covers as well as created all her own book trailer videos.

She has several series: The Legacy of the Blade Series, Daughters of the Dagger, Elemental Series, Tarnished Saints Series, Greek Myth Fantasy, and her newest, her Scottish medieval MadMan MacKeefe series.

She hopes to visit the castles of Scotland and England personally some day. However, she has been to the jungles of Peru and Machu Picchu which inspired her novels, Curse of the Condor and Eden’s Garden.

Elizabeth’s trademark is a rose on the cover of each of her books, to let you know it is her work, since there are other authors by the same name. She also ends each novel with the title of the book being the last words of the story.
