SYNOPSIS:

Sean McMillan has always lived a life more human than shifter. Upon joining Alpha Squad he is thrust into a whole new world which is taking some getting used to. Bear shifter Sean McMillan has just finished boot camp and joined Alpha Squad. He's not at all sure he has done the right thing. He has always lived like a human and a cop.

Erin Reid is nothing more than a low level student as far as the professor she works for is concerned. She was hoping to learn and is just doing grunt work. She has no idea what the professor is even working on.

Two unexplained shifter deaths set the Alpha Squad on their next job. Will our hero make a good team member or will he mess up?

Can our heroine resist the chance to study the shifters she comes into contact with?

Both our protagonists have a lot to learn.

This is part of a series where the main story is best read in order, but each individual book can happily be enjoyed on it's own. I have read and enjoyed each one. A marvellous series that is more than just a paranormal romance.

This is a police procedural story with the added spice from our shifters. I loved it.
