Isabella has been living a studying at the convent for five years. She speaks several languages and can read them. When the Vikings come to raid the convent Isabella tries to talk them out of it.
This is the second book of the series,  but if like me you missed the first one, you will still enjoy this. Our hero is an arrogant alpha male, used to just taking what he wants.  He is also intelligent enough to know when to be gentle. Our heroine is fearless. She needs a purpose in life.
A series I'm sure I will get addicted to. I loved it.
