ARC Reviews

Light In Darkness, ( Others Of Edenton #6) By Brandy L. Rivers. My ARC review.

Sometimes light comes from the darkest shadows...
Lincoln ,having been sheltered his whole life, is finally finding his path after losing his mother. Gaining confidence isn´t easy, but he can´t resist going after the woman he craves.
Victoria believes she is a monster. Her past is full of darkness and pain, horrors she would protect Lincoln from.Pushing him away proves harder than she imagined now his heart is set on her.
A secret is revealed when a group of Other hunters come searching for Victoria, putting Lincoln in danger.
Will darkness consume Victoria ? Or will Lincoln´s light show her the truth?

This story grabbed me in the prologue, and got even better from there.
Lincoln has always be a quiet person, his mother was very religious.  She brought him up to always do the right thing. Their only disagreement before she died,  was the woman Lincoln wants.
Victoria is a vampire and a Shadow walker. She believes she is far too evil for a pure man like Lincoln. But can't resist watching him in the shower.
When Lincoln finally gets up the nerve to ask her out, someone attacks.  That is when he and the rest of Edenton realise he is more than they thought.
There is a group called HARP that have been experimenting on " others" . They have now set their sights on Victoria and Lincoln.
Although this is part of a series, you could read it as a stand alone. But beware if you do, you will find yourself looking for ALL the other books. The series is set in a town where the inhabitants are "others" of just about every type you you can think of.
The main battle in this particular story is really gripping.  The creatures that have been created by HARP are just about as scary as you can imagine.
If you are not already addicted to this series, you will be soon.

I´ve always loved books, especially about monsters and magic, so I started writing . I´m working on a prequel and the next few books in the Others of Edenton Series, and I have a head full of stories to share.
I´m a stay at home mother with a wonderful husband who lets me write to my hearts to content.
