Lady Marjorie Kennedy is a widow with two young,  very spirited daughters.  She's travelling up to the highlands with the rest of her brother in law's household.  Although she doesn't really like the man whose Keep they will stay at, its a big family get together for Hogmanay ,so it will be enjoyable. Last time they were there the Duke insulted her and her daughters.

Keane Buchannon  has been working hard since he inherited his title to improve the Clan's reputation.  He has a very protective streak which causes the two young women he has guardianship of, no end of aggravation.  

By holding the big Hogmanay celebration he is cementing the new relationships he is forming and bringing much needed peace to his Clan.  

This is a wonderful fast paced story.  The family connections could be confusing if you haven't read any of the previous books, but it won't take you long to sort out.  The kitties will play a very important role.  There is also a very dangerous villain in the mix.  

A very exciting read.  I loved it.

Kendra is on an errand for her mother to the nearby village when she sees her childhood tormentor, her brother's best friend. Their unusually civilized conversation is interrupted by a gunshot.  

This is an exciting historical romance with a nice dangerous mystery to solve. The characters are lots of fun and I don't think you will guess the real villain until you read it.  Our heroine will find out she's a lot stronger than she thought and the hero is nowhere near as bad as she believed.  

This is part of a series but easily read on it's own.

Who could possibly be behind such an attack???? 

A lovely and exciting romance with fabulous characters.  This author certainly knows how to keep our attention.

This is lovely story full of fun and emotion.  I fell in love with the characters straightaway. It is part of a series but easily read on it's own.  Be warned you will be tempted to buy the rest.
