Sir Neill Waryn is the youngest of the brothers and has worked hard to prove himself to be a fearless warrior.  He has just won the tournament of peace and asked the King for a very special Boon.  Hopefully that will help bring peace back to the boarders. 
Kathryn Baird is working at an inn and hiding who she really is until she can find a way to confront her father's killer. 
He was an important messenger for the King,  but someone didn't want that last message delivered.
This is an exciting addition to a great series.  You could read it on it's own but you will meet the rest of the family that have been in the previous books,  so that might spoil them for you. 
Lots of danger and intrigue for both our characters. They will travel from one royal court to another to find a murderer and try and bring peace,  maybe at a very high cost to themselves. 
I loved it.

This is part of a series but easily read alone.

Reid Kerr has refused to ask for the place of his Clan chief and brother's second in command,  because he knows he is not good enough to be accepted.  The middle brother who was the second,  married and moved away from the clan stronghold.  Reid has always been the undisciplined one in the family,  taking his pleasure without care about those who disapprove.
English woman Allie Bowman escaped an arranged marriage and is living with her sister in Scotland.  It feels like home even if the border is rife with tension.  Her main problem is trying to find her own way without hurting her overprotective sister. 
A lovely historical romance with characters you can't help but fall in live with.  It is part of a series but easily read on it's own. 
Good fun.

Lady Gillian Bowman is going to enjoy this last celebration before she has to marry a horrible old man.  Her family is in danger of losing everything unless she does as her father says.  
There have been a lot of raids all along the border and the peace is in jeopardy.  
An amusing story where our wonderful characters hardly stay still long enough to think let alone speak,  no wonder misunderstandings happen.  
This is part of a series.  Each book can be read on its own,  but better if you read them in order.  You will meet the characters from the earlier books.  Lots of fun.  I loved it.

Lady Emma Waryn is living with her brother and his wife.  While she loves them, she also doesn't like being always told what she can and can't do.  Her brother is just as over protective as their father was.  She wants adventure.  A trip to see a friend who is expecting a baby is the ideal opportunity. 
A lively trip through the exciting borderlands between England and Scotland.  Our hero has a very difficult decision to make, that choice might start a war or bring peace.  Our heroine is a very determined young lady who goes after what she wants. 
Good fun,  with great characters.
