Join NY Times, USA Today Bestselling, and celebrated authors Suzan Tisdale, Kathryn Lynn Davis, Victoria Zak, Ceci Giltenan, Kate Robbins, and Lily Baldwin, on a journey back in time with six new Scottish Historical stories.

In the Highlands of Scotland, there exists a magical glen where visitors can make a single wish. The cost: giving something precious in return, something you've never offered to anyone before. But beware, for there is a siren capable of reading your heart, and if your intent is anything but pure, there will be consequences…

Legend has it when the ruthless Laird Bronn Keith nearly dies due to his own selfishness and greed, his life was saved by the siren. She offers him a single wish. But when he fails to offer up what she requires in return for granting his one desire, the magical woman abandons him, leaving him to die.

In his tragic moment, the laird finally realizes the error of his ways and inadvertently offers his regret for the life he’s lived. Judging his heart true, Laird Keith is returned to his home, where he changes his life and the lives of those around him, finding love and peace forever.

Our stories take you back in time, to the magical Highland glen where wishes are made, redemption is sought, and forgiveness is hopefully found.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Legend,

by Violetta Rand.
Laird Bron Keith sets the stage for this set of stories.

Part 1.

Wager Of The Heart.

By Suzan Tisdale.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Graham Keith has been drinking and gambling his life away for years.  He's the only worthless one in his family which is why he can't go home.
An unusual win in his latest game will prove very troubling.
Leelah Hay - MacDonald lost her husband a year ago.  Life with his brother has been terrible and now he has found a way to be rid of her and her four children for good.
An extremely difficult journey is ahead for our characters.  Emotions are running wild, but the story is really good fun.  Picturing some of the scenes in my mind gave me a few giggles.

Part 2,

Clouds Across The Moon.

By Kathryn Lynn Davis.

⭐⭐

No sorry,  i found this story to be depressing and just wanted to kick the characters to wake them up.
I would normally not post a review like this but as it's part of a box set I have no choice.
Sorry again to the author.

Part 3

Highland Heart's Desire.

By Victoria Zak.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

A short but lovely story.
Breena is a fairy who is clumsy with her magic and a fascination with the human realm.  Will she pay the ultimate price for her wishes??
Laird Robert Keith is a warrior in King Roberts army.  The angel he saw years ago is back to help,  but can he hope to keep her???
A much better tale with lovely characters and a full story.

Part 4.

The Lost Soul,

By Ceci Giltenan.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Margaret Grant has been sent to live with the Clan of her betrothed in the hope that she will come to terms with the idea of the marriage.  She is a spoiled brat whose father always gave her everything she wanted.  This is the first time she is not going to get her way,  so she will make it impossible for everyone around her.
A very good story with a strong moral.  The fairy of the glen has her work cut out for her this time.

Part 5

Whispers To The Soul.

By Kate Robbins.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kenzie Andrews has been working and hiding in the kitchens of the Laird of Clan Gordon. Today the hiding is not going too well as she runs for her safety through the forest.
Gaelin Frazer  has been summond by a friend to be captain of his guard and take on a special mission for him.
This is a lovely mystery to solve.  With some danger to both our characters and a little magic thrown in.

Part 6.

The Courageous Highlander.

By Lily Baldwin.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Owen MacArthur is the Laird of a remote Highland Clan they live very high in the mountains so that they can live in peace away from all the wars that others are involved in.
They have a tradition where the Laird must go alone to hunt each year to bring prosperity to the Clan.  What will he catch this year.
Gwynn made a foolish deal with a member of the Fae many years ago and she has been imprisoned ever since.  Will she ever get a chance to be free.
A fun story with danger and heartache for our characters.
As with all the tales in this set it, comes with a strong moral behind it.

Growing up in the sister city to Stirling, Scotland, Sottish flare was abundant throughout Dunedin. From her High School band to the annual Highland Games that took place right across the street from her childhood home, the bagpipes beckoned her toward her calling. It seemed only natural for Victoria Zak to want to write in the Scottish historical romance genre. Add to the fact, she was also a paranormal romance junkie, there was no doubt that her influences would be the driving force behind her stories.
Although, she never sought out a writing career, her desire for the written word grew the more she read. Her love for Scotland, curiosity of history, and passion for romance has inspired her to write her first book, Highland Burn. The Guardians of Scotland series continues this winter with Highland Storm.
Now, Victoria Zak lives in the sunshine state with her husband, two beautiful children, and three furry friends. Living in paradise, being a stay at home, and to be able to share her stories has been a blessing.

I've always been a hopeful romantic and completely enamored with romance novels, especially ones involving a protective, rebellious Hero fighting the good fight. I started writing my first story when my daughter was born.  I remember holding her new little body in my arms, promising her that if she worked hard, she could achieve anything. I realized how hollow my promise sounded when I had not accomplished my own dream of becoming an author. And so my journey began. I started to write my first book so that I could look my daughter in the eye when I encouraged her to strive. And now, nearly ten years later, I'm humbled to be able to say that hundreds of thousands of people have read my books. With gratitude, I wish you happy reading!
