A de Wolfe disguised as a guard sees an opportunity of love...

Lady Rebekah Maxwell has no idea what to expect when the messengers from House De Wolfe come riding to her father’s castle. She knows they are here to answer her marriage proposal, but nothing of the man she’s intended to marry.
When Leonidus De Wolfe arrives at Castle Caerlaverock he is enchanted with the Lady Rebekah instantly, but when she mistakes him for one of the guards he sees an opportunity. He hopes that she will come to know him as a man, and not just the title that comes with his name.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lady Rebekah Maxwell is still in shock over the loss of her brother when her father tells her she must marry immediately.
The family he hopes to make a connection with is very powerful and well known as warriors.  She is terrified.
Sir Leonidus de Wolfe hasn't even begun to think of getting married,  but agrees with his father that it must be done to keep peace on the border.  He is a naughty but generally good man with a fearsome reputation.
An exciting and fun read with lovely characters.  The story really keeps to the character of the series that it is linked to.
I have not read anything from this author before,  but will definitely be looking for more of her books.
I loved it.
