BETRAYED: Book 3 in USA Today best-selling author Taylor Lee’s Sizzling HOT Detective Series, The Criminal Affairs Collection.

• Viviana, his renegade cop, is hard enough to control. Now Jax has to fend off an interloper who is almost as sexy and arrogant as he is. And that is saying something.
• The Rising Star Political Hotshot wants Viviana’s expertise. Not incidentally, he wants her!
• Viviana has spent her life denying her ugly past. But her nightmares have caught up with her. The Sexy Police Chief insists that together they will find and punish the evil men who abused her.

Coming back to work after a beating that nearly cost her life Sergeant Viviana Moreau,  known to her adoring public as the Enchantress finds herself battling for her independence.
Police Chief Jax Hughes is Viviana's lover and boss.  He is also the most arrogant and possessive hero in any of the books I've read.  I think he is incredibly harsh with our heroine who is more vulnerable than she likes to think.  She seems to like it though.
The team have what looks like a gang war brewing in their city and our hot shot heroine is distracted.  Personal feelings have no place at work when lives are on the line.
This is a sexy,  hard hitting story that is part of a series best read in order to understand all the motives of our characters.
Now I must read the last in the series as soon as possible.

USA Today Best Selling author Taylor Lee writes Suspenseful Mystery Thrillers – with a heavy dose of Sexy to Sizzling HOT Romance.

In the less than four years that she has been writing, Taylor has written more than thirty books.  Her six, soon to be seven, series track her Special Operatives, Covert Agents, Cops, Firefighters and other iconic heroes and heroines, through the harrowing situations that make up their lives. From human trafficking rings to corrupt politicians, Taylor investigates the underbelly of society and the criminals who flourish there.

Taylor says:
From the residue in my personal blender of mixed races, cultures and world views, my characters emerge. It comforts me to know that while evil slinks in the shadows, the “good guys” of the world sniff it out – and snuff it out.

My characters are arrogant alpha males and the feisty women who bring them to their knees – and vice versa… They fight hard, love hard and don’t mince words. They are dangerous men and women in dangerous times. Love, passion and ridding the world of evil? What’s not to like?
