Trinity Bound. ( A Redwood Pack Novel #3) by Carrie Ann Ryan. My Review.

Hannah Lewis, a rare earth witch, is taken from the only life she´s ever known. Held against her will by a sadistic wolf, she almost gives up hope that she will ever see real life again. But as her fellow captive , a werewolf named Reed, tries to calm her fears, she begins to feel a spark of something she never thought she´d feel-love. But is Reed alone enough to get her out of this dark basement so she can move on with her life ? 

Reed Jamenson, the artist of a werewolf Pack of Alpha males, knows instinctually  that Hannah is his mate. Thus despite their imprisionment, he will do all to protect her and then worry about their hearts. But is he strong enough to find a way for both of them to escape? And why does he feel as though something else is missing ?

Josh Kolb, an ex-military human, stumbles upon Reed and Hannah and finds he must trust this new world of supernatural beings to survive. But that desire will lead the three to a triangle of attraction that will test the boundaries they all possess and it´s consequences in defeating the enemy. Can they all trust one another to save themselves and life as they know it? Even at the cost of their own hearts.?

Oh wow I think my kindle has melted. This book was so hot. It is part of the Redwood Pack series and should be read in order.

Reed is one of the Alpha's sons but has always felt like the useless one. He is an artist,  but at the moment he is chained in the cells of the Central Pack.  With him in the cell is a beautiful witch.  She is being tortured and he is helpless to save her.
Hannah is an earth witch and a healer,  but in this concrete building she cannot reach her magic.
Josh is ex.navy  SEAL while he is in town he hears about two people who have been taken. He has a special talent for finding lost people and feels he must help.

I loved every page of this story..Make sure when you start reading this that you have nothing else that needs doing, because it won't get done.   Each of our main characters are strong in their own way, but have very different issues with self confidence.  They have a lot of danger to overcome,  and very confusing feelings to deal with.
A very sexy book for adults only.

Hidden Salem ( Salem Series #1) By Kiki Howell. My Review.

                                                         

Intuition alone brought Makayla to Salem,MA in search of a story, but her research has her confronting more than she bargained for. With her empathic gifts stronger in Witch City, she physically suffers, landing her literally unconscious in the arms of both Noah Ayers ,local cop and Dylan Baines , local history teacher. Yet, it is Laurie, a witch who owns a local shop , who teaches Makayla about who she is and what she can do.

Unfortunately for all of them , Makayla also stumbles upon a coven in the woods practicing a dark magic ritual. Now they are after her , threatening  her life and the lives of those she has quickly come to care about. Immersed in things she never expected , like an old legend and necromancy due to residual hauntings , the race is on to stay safe from the coven and protect her heart from a certain sexy cop.

But, is Laurie correct in thinking Makayla might just have encountered the only real witch in Salem from 1692? And, do they share the same bloodline?

Makayla is an empath,  she can feel the emotions of the people around her and residual emotion even from places. Now she has sold up her house to go on an adventure. She has been stand to Salem.  A place rich in history,  and a place that might help her understand her own abilities. 
As soon as she gets there her visions and feelings seem to get out of her control.  She comes to in the arms of a sexy cop.
Makayla meet two men who she is drawn to in different ways. One makes her feel safe and has a calming effect on her. The other makes her emotions spin so much she doesn't know which emotions are hers and which are his.
Being drawn to some very bad emotions puts Makayla and those near her in very very dangerous situation.  Not all the witches in Salem are good. Some play with power they do not know how to control. 
This book is a whirlwind of emotional energy. Poor Makayla gets hit with so much all at once,  it's a wonder she is not locked up in a loony bin by the end. A few beautiful love scenes,  but not graphic.  I could see a good series growing from this book.
