Lady Meg Winters is one of four innocent young women with the same scandal breaking over them.  Her father has his idea of how to solve her problem and protect her reputation, but she doesn't agree.  She is going do things her way,  with the help of an old friend and her twin sister. 

Captain Lord Harry De Vere is back from the war against Napoleon. He was wounded and has a task to perform for a dead comrade, but gets delayed by an old friend.  

This is the last book in a series of four and if you are reading the full series,  it should be read in order.  You could read each book on it's own and thoroughly enjoy them,  but the dastardly villian works his way through each story, getting more dangerous as he goes.  There is much more to this story than just that villian.  Our heroine has a very hectic,  but strangely enjoyable few weeks to get through.  Our hero faces many challenges not the least of these battling his own desires.  

Wonderful characters on a fun-filled adventure.

Lady Juliette thought she could count on someone, but he let her down badly.  Now she must find her way home to her family. 

Daniel Stewart has been summoned by his estranged grandfather to his deathbed. He has no intention of playing his grandfather's game.  He is quite happy with his life and his friends, human and canine.  

Our characters will learn who they can and can't count on. 

 It's a very amusing story with lovely characters. It is obviously part of a series that is best read in order,  but each book could be read on it's own.

Sir Joseph Sayle is a diplomat who uses his natural charm all over the world in service to England.  Sometimes he has been known to be in bedrooms that are not his own.  At heart he is a gentleman willing to help a lady in distress. 

A fun historical romance with fabulous characters and a nasty villain with revenge in mind.  A real romp through the countryside.  

This is the first book in a series and I will definitely be reading the rest.
