Kate Rafferty has been the ward of a crotchety old lady for the last few years. With the old lady's death she hopes to start her independent life. She is an intelligent and capable young woman.  The news she received in London will cause her all sorts of problems. 

An action filled historical romance with fabulous characters and lots of intrigue.  There is a mystery to solve and dangerous people to catch.  

This book is part of a fabulous series but can easily be read on it's own.

Major Lord Felix Knight is a spy in Wellington's army and he is on the hunt for a traitor.  Spain and England are allies against Napoleon's France. The mountainous Basque area is the border between Spain and France can be a dangerous place even without battles and traitors. 

Lady Catalina Mendoza looks like a perfect Spanish aristocrat but she has a secret.  Her father is in command of the Spanish contingent and is also looking for a traitor.  

This is a wonderful historical romance full of intrigue, danger and excitement.  The characters are lots of fun,  even the canine ones. You might have met our hero in a previous book in the series but that doesn't spoil this one.  

Great fun,  I loved it.

Our heroine is a typical woman of her time,  under the control of her father who apparently is not the loving parent she thought. 

A very exciting story with wonderful characters that face terrible danger all through.  It will keep you well entertained from start to finish.  This is part of a series of stand alone books.  I can't wait until the next one.

This is a fun, sweet historical romance with fabulous characters.  The story takes a lovely twisty route and involves a lot of family help.

Emma Lancaster has done somethings in the past that look like they are about to come back and bite her.  If she'd known the name of the family her god mother was taking her to, she would never have come.  

This story is a lot of fun.  I fell in love with all of the characters straight away.  A sweet historical romance.
