This historical romance is a lot of fun.  Our characters are really just trying to live a simple life,  but society keeps interfering.  

This is the second book in the series,  but each book can easily be read on it's own.  They will tempt you to read rest.

This is a very amusing story that plays a lot with family dynamics. Our hero just wants peace and quiet.  That is so not happening.

This is an all action, historical romance filled with intrigue and danger. Both our lead characters are truly heroic and  believe whole heartedly in what they are doing.  

You might have read the previous books in the series and met our heroine's friends,  but you can easily read this on it's own.  Female heroines make for exciting and unusual stories. 

I loved it.

Graig MacLean has fought for the Bonnie Prince trying hard to rid Scotland of the hated English King's men.  It's heart breaking and extremely dangerous, even after the main battle has ended.  

A historical romance filled with courageous, strong and loving characters.  You will need tissues and there are several scary moments.  

A very exciting book.

A very exciting story. The characters are strong, brave and lots of fun. There is lots of mischief and a vicious battle.

Brochan Lamont and his twin brother have been locked in battle since before their first breaths.  That has not been helped by their father not naming his heir,  instead the first one to breed a legitimate heir gets both castles. 
The twins might look alike but they are totally different characters. 
Our heroine is going to have to face her deepest fears. 
This is a fascinating story mostly about a woman struggling to put the past behind her and find the strong woman inside . Will her new husband be the brute or the hero she needs.??
A very enjoyable read.

The border between Scotland and England is a very dangerous place.  The politics of the time mean that unscrupulous men sometimes shift sides depending on what they can gain.  There is history between our main characters that nobody except them knows about. 
A very exciting and action packed story full of danger, and political intrigue. Death comes very close many times. 
I loved it.
