Count On Me, by Abigail Graham. Magical Romance & ARC Review

Add To

Count Conrad's word is law, and he's decreed I will give him a baby!

I was desperate, alone and lost. Like a white knight, Count Conrad took me in, giving me food, shelter, and a warm bed.

I didn’t know the bed would be his.

He expects me to serve him—in every way! But I’m not surrendering to his arrogance that easily.

Except every word he speaks is a sin, sensual and teasing. He’s a cold as the castle walls and harder than the stones, but I think he likes my resistance. When every conversation is like foreplay and every meal a battle, every night becomes a struggle to not give in to our desires.

I should leave, but he says I can’t escape. Not from him, and not from the connection we have. I don’t want to believe him, but it feels like we’re linked. He might act like a beast, but there’s beauty in his soul.

But he hasn’t told me the complete truth.

The castle keeps dark secrets, and the truth will put our lives in the greatest of danger.

Roxanne Giulimarco is trying to lose herself.  No matter where she goes she can't seem to hide.  A plane trip to the middle of nowhere and dumping all her technology just might work.  She doesn't realize just how far out of the way she is going.
Conrad, Count von Grauberg  is the lord of the castle and surrounding lands.  Can he stop history repeating itself or must he lose everything again.
Wow !  what a story.  A magical curse,  an everlasting love story and historical type battles.  This book has it all.  Our tormented hero is forever trying to save his family.  Our heroine must dig deep into her memories to find the key to save them all before disaster strikes.
An absolutely wonderful book, with great characters.  I loved every page.

Benched by Abigail Graham. My ARC Review.

Mr. Right has never been so freakin’ wrong.
I'm a single mom and a cop. When some arrogant superstar thinks he can speed through my town and smirk and charm his way out of a ticket, he’s wrong. I wrote the ticket and impounded his car.

Then he moved in next door.

This muscled up god with his glorious physique, panty-dropping smile and smart mouth is my new neighbor. He hates the ‘burbs, but that doesn’t seem to stop him from flirting with me every chance he gets. As if strutting around in boxers with his abs and chest on display is enough to make me forget his snide comments and wisecracks. Oh sure, he knows how to turn on the charm... like I'll fall for that.

I bet that would make a great story, bagging the cop that gave him the ticket- but I’m not some ditzy arm candy lining up to be the next notch in his bedpost.

I don’t have time to fool around. It doesn’t matter if he’s hot, and younger than I am, and just looking at him makes my legs shake.

The closer we get, the more I think I misjudged him. Somewhere beneath that arrogant smirk is a good man, maybe even the right man, but my past threatens to shatter us both...

BENCHED is a standalone, full-length romance with an HEA.

Alexander Wright has been nabbed for speeding.  He is a very famous football player and used to getting his own way.  When he gets a harsh punishment he begins to learn there is much in life be has been missing out on.
Officer Phoebe Maguire is a hard working single mum in a small town.  She is fed up with everyone not taking her seriously just because she is petite. The giant football player needs to be put in his place.
This is a fun story about two people who are polar opposites learning there is more than one way to look at things. The characters are complex and very lovable. There are some very hot sex scenes and a nasty visit from people who don't seem to  know what the words "go away" mean.
A very enjoyable book.

His Princess. (A Royal Romance) by Abigail Graham. ARC Review.

I married a royal bastard.

The Crown Prince took me prisoner. You read that right. Crown Prince. Castle, crown, the whole nine yards. The monarch of a totalitarian regime has locked me up in his fortress, and he demands that I marry him... and provide him with an heir!

Me. The girl from Jersey. Trust me, I'm no princess. He's the last man I'd choose for my prince.

He's an arrogant jerk and has a stick up his...you know where. But that dark hair, those deep blue eyes, those strong arms, those perfect abs, that humongous... sword. I can't stand him, but I can't take my eyes off him.

I'm not marrying him and I'm definitely not his subject. If he wants me to be his princess, he better treat me like one or he can take his crown and shove it.

This is contemporary, but with flavours of historical and dystopian.
Persephone is working as an English teacher in a war torn area.  The children need all the help they can get . She exists on the same meagre rations everyone else has. Her work mate is a religious missionary, but has her eyes on one of the other missionaries.  When they sneak out of camp one night  Penny follows, a disastrous idea.  The male missionary is not who he seems.
Kristoff is the crown prince of the neighbouring country. Outsiders call him a despot. He calls it protecting his people. But are they happy about it ?  He holds a secret that the outside world would kill to get it's hands on.
There is quite a bit of violence and emotion in this story. I would say it is an adult read because of the difficult subjects, and the sex in it.  But it's mainly about a man doing all he can for his people. Just going the wrong way about it. Our heroine is very brave and completely selfless. An all action, fast paced story. With lots of danger and some HOT sex.

Bad Boy Next Door. by Abigail Graham. Romantic Suspense/Thriller. My Review.

I can't resist the bad boy next door...

I don't have time for men when I'm raising my daughters alone – especially an obnoxious jerk like my new neighbor, Quentin.

Tattoos, muscles, ego. I told him to move his car and he sprayed me with a hose. We make each other furious, and he gets me wet.

I should have slapped him, but I let him drive me to work instead. He ended up driving me wild.

He won't share his number, tell me what he does... but one look and I'm begging to be his, one touch and my panties hit the floor.

I know he's wrong for me, but he feels so right. I'm falling for the bad boy next door.

---

I kill people for a living. I never thought I'd get in trouble for refusing to murder someone.

I was supposed to kill all the witnesses. When I couldn't pull the trigger on an innocent girl, I became a marked man.

Now, I'm stuck in the 'burbs, laying low and trying to blend in.

Just one problem – my new neighbor, Rose.

She showed up on my porch complaining about my car. I had to slam the door in her face before I pulled her inside, pinned her to the wall, and took every sweet inch of her.

I shouldn't do this. I shouldn't let her in. But I can't stop thinking about this firecracker moaning underneath me every waking second. I'm poison to her and I don't need a girl, but when I lay eyes on her all I want is to keep her in my bed forever and pleasure her until she forgets her own name.

She's mine and nobody's taking her from me. I'll put my lips all over this woman if it's the last thing I do.

Quentin Mulqueen is a hit man,  but he made a drastic mistake on his last job.  Now he has a price on his head, and the man who trained him to kill is after him. A friend sets him up with a safe house in a gated community.
Rose Hayes is a divorcรฉ with two daughters. She is struggling to make ends meet. She works for a chauvinistic dentist and is studying at night school.  Unfortunately there are not enough hours in the day.
This is a great romantic suspense.  Our hero is not a nice man. His way of solving problems is a little too physical.  He does have his own code. No one should harm women  or kids. The people after him don´t care who they hurt . They kill viciously anyone who is in their way.
Our heroine is over worked, under paid and completely worn down. Her girls are adorable and do their best to help mum. The hot bad tempered man next door is someone she has not got the time or the energy to deal with
This has a surprising resolution to Quentin's problem. Lots of danger and some hot sex scenes. A very enjoyable read.

Mockingbird.( A Stepbrother Romance ) by Abigail Graham My ARC Review.

I came to screw my step-sister.
Picked fences and apple pie are for suckers. I´ve never met a woman that was good for more than just a one night stand.
Until Diana.
Why did I have to meet her now?
My Dad and I are running a con on Diana and her mother. This is it. The big one. Our last score.
Except, my feelings are getting in the way.. and if we screw this one up, we´re all dead.
I can´t give Diana anything but pain, and I love her too much to drag her into my life of crime.
But without her , my life might not be worth living.
----
My stepbrother stole my heart ...and my panties.
There´s something wrong here, My Mother marrying a guy after knowing him less than a week, eloping to Vegas.. and on top of that, I´m addicted to my new stepbrother.
Apollo Temple. He´s strong , cocksure, and makes my panties melt.
I know he wants me , but he acts like I can´t have him.
I need Apollo more than the air I breathe , so why is the world trying to keep us apart?

★★★★★
Apollo Temple is a thief, he has been trained by his father to be a very good one. They have traveled all over the world, stealing from the very rich and institutions. Using their wits , physical prowess and charm to get the job done. This latest job is different.  They have to steal a painting from a museum.  To do that they have to get close to the woman who is in charge or her daughter.
Diana's mother thinks more of her precious museum than she does her daughter,  or so Diana believes. There has been just the two of them since the divorce.  They used to be close, but now her mother just will not listen to what Diana wants.
This is a good romantic suspense, where there seems no possible way for a happy ever after. Deep down our hero is a good man, but young and very much under his father's control.  Our heroine is a little bit of a spoiled brat, who has until recently been used to getting her own way. A fun, sexy read.
