The 1st in a series.
Semya Slotin has let a very unusual life. Her birth mother was a model and a whore, she died when Semya was young. Her adopted mother was a Super model and now owns a fashion house. Now Semya and her roommate Poli (the only daughter of a Russian mob boss) run a posh wine store in London. Because she has a degree in criminal science her mother has asked her to find out who is selling her designs to a rival. What seems an easy case takes a turn for something much more dangerous, and personal.
I found the writing style of this a little chaotic until I got used to it. Possibly because the author's first language is obviously not English. You do have to read it carefully. But it is well worth the effort. The story has lots of twists and turns. The relationships between all the lead characters is intense and fun. Plenty of mystery and some very sexy scenes.
