Pallas (Vanguard Elite #5) by Annie Nicholas. Paranormal Romance My Review.

Pallas comes from the deadliest vampire clan that ever existed.
Spent centuries transforming wolf shifters into warriors.
People trembled at his name.
Now, he runs a boot camp for misfit werewolves.
Everything is coming together. His life, the pack, and their community.
Then the police finds a corpse on his land.
Drained of blood.
His only hope of proving his innocence is the sheriff.
The woman of his dreams with a warrior’s heart.
But she hates him.

Sheriff Leona Lee knows this latest murder case is going to cause massive problems in her nice quiet town.  A body with puncture wounds in it's neck and on the land of the only vampire in town.
Pallas is giving his werewolf pack a little fun after the last big test he put them through.  When the beautiful sheriff comes to arrest him for murder he goes willingly,  after all he is innocent.
Big trouble for our characters comes from unexpected quarters.  A very exciting story with our hero showing remarkable restraint.
I have loved every one of the books in this series and this is the best one yet.
