River´s End.(A World Of de Wolfe Pack Novella) by Kathryn Le Veque. My Review.

When Deputy Sheriff Reed Dewolfe McCoy is saved from an attempt on his life by a mysterious woman, he spends the next two years searching for her and finds her in the most unexpected place - right in his own home town.

When Kinley Connors-Berrington saved Reed's life, she fled the scene in both fear and self-preservation. A damaged woman with a terrible past, she has a hard time overcoming her fears and emotional baggage when Reed comes back in to her life.

The attraction between the two of them is very strong but Kinley resists.Reed, however, won't take 'no' for an answer because something deep draws him to her. Finally discovering what the mysterious, beautiful woman is running from, Reed does his best to help her work through her painful past, but when history threatens to repeat itself, it's up to Reed this time to save Kinley's life.

Follow Reed and Kinley's journey to the River's End.

Deputy Reed Dewolfe McCoy stopped in a roadside cafe to warm up on a freezing morning.  Only to find himself looking down the barrel of his own gun.
"Clover" is a woman who ran from a violent and heartbreaking past.  An incident at her work causes her to run again.
Will she ever be able to leave the past behind.  Our heroine has a lot more courage than she believes. Our hero comes from a long line of Knights in shining armour . He can live up to his heritage.
A contemporary link to our "World of de Wolfe Pack " . I don't normally read contemporary romance,  but from this author I have never found a book I didn't love.  They are always well worth reading.
I loved it.
