The Captive ( Betania Breed #1) by Jenny Foster. Sci-Fi Romance. ARC Review

His name is Khazaar Drasurq, and he is different from all the other men she knows.
He is dangerous.
He is unpredictable.
To Cassie, he is the most desirable man she has ever laid eyes on.
For Khazaar, on the other hand, she exists only to secure the survival of his race. She is a little cog in the big plan the possessive Alien lord is following.
As Cassie is thrown into his dangerous world, she soon realizes that she desperately needs something only he can give her.
His protection.
Allow Jenny Foster’s romance novel to carry you off to a grandiose Sci-Fi world. This novel evolved from the original short story, and will be followed by 3 additional volumes. In “The Captive” you are holding Book One of the Betania Breed series in your hands. You will experience adventurous, dramatic and seductive travels through the universe, first hand.
This will be a ride you won't want to miss.

* * * Can be read as a standalone book. * * * The Captive is Book 1. NO cliffhanger. The series can be read in any order. Warning: Intended for mature audiences only.

Cassie Burnette is human, with a special talent.  That is not going to stop her,  and the other women from being given in payment to The Qua'Hathri.  They are the aliens who rescued Earth from the Sethari who had enslaved them.  The Qua'Hathri are dying out and need the Earth women to breed with.
Qua'Hathri  warlord Kazaar Drasurq  is happy with the deal he made with Earth.  He now has a group of females for his warriors.  He must lead by example and pick one for himself.  One in particular has been declared mist compatible with his DNA.
Our heroine is a strong and sassy woman who discovers her talent is much more useful that she ever thought.  It will also put her in a lit of dangerous situations.
Our hero will not stay as the happy all conquering hero for very long.  Our characters have betrayal and more deadly aliens to face in space.
Thus is a wonderful sci-fi romance with lost of exciting danger and some hot sex scenes.  A blast through space that take you places you certain would not want to visit.  The ending will make sure you want to get the next book.  I certainly do.  I loved it.
