Notorious outlaw Buck Grayson is set to hang for the one murder he didn't commit, until a last minute pardon sets him free. But there's a condition to the pardon. He's to cease outlawing and bring law and order to Revolving Point, Texas, the border town along the Rio Grande, with a reputation worse than his. Zanna is there and still in danger from the fancy-pants attorney seeking revenge against her. Buck will do anything for Zanna--even pin the tin star to his chest to keep her safe--except say the words she longs to hear.
Former soiled dove Suzanna Reynolds wants respectability, a home and children, and she wants them with Buck. Trouble is, Buck isn't the settling type and has never openly acknowledged she's his woman. Convinced Buck only took the sheriff's job to settle a score and not to please her, Suzanna demands he court her to prove his love. Or leave town for good.

After leaving her outlaw lover the means to escape his jail cell Suzanna Reynolds makes her way to a small lawless town near the Rio Grande. She is sure he will follow her, even if it's only to get his fancy guns back.
It takes Buck Grayson a long time to be able to go after his woman. He knows big trouble will probably be waiting for him, and not just from Zanna's frying pan.
Wild western romance at it's best. Lovely strong female characters and bold and brave men carving out a life in the roughest part of America after the the civil war.
This made a nice change of pace for me, I loved it.

Julie writes Western Historical Romance. Her stories bring to life the code of ethics cowboys lived by and the dangers outlaws defied living by their guns. Often outspoken and temperamental, with their own sense of humor, Julie’s heroes share a common trait―the willingness to surrender his heart to the right woman and earn her love for eternity.
Julie was born and raised in upstate New York. She married her high school sweetheart and accompanied him on his twenty-year career with the United States Air Force. Currently, she makes her home in the Pikes Peak region, where she is a stay-at-home mom enjoying a career writing western historical romance.
In the late 80's, a friend introduced Julie to the romance genre. She was instantly hooked, and credits Johanna Lindsey's addictive and endearing Malory family and Judith McNaught's flawless voice as inspirations to pen her own novels. Combining her fondness for horses, John Wayne's cowboy persona, and the television show, Dallas, she settled into writing western historical romance early in her career.
Julie self-publishes her work on Amazon. She also designs her own covers and blogs monthly at Cowboy Kisses blogspot. When not writing, she enjoys taking care of her family and home, exploring the Rocky Mountains and meeting fans of the romance genre.
