When Kayla Malone is saved from a certain beating,  she is not sure if she is any safer with her rescuer. 
Ryker and Rio Tyren are twin lion shifters with Shifter Squad Nine.  When at the end of a job for the Firm their boss gives them a gift,  they know he has devious plans for them. 
I won't tell you what they will have to do because that will spoil it,  but they have a terribly emotional roller coaster to go through. 
This is part of a series but easily read as a stand alone.  Saying that,  I have read the others and it helps to know why the squad are not very trusting. 
The story alone would make a great romantic suspense, but add in our gorgeous and very sexy shifters and it's irresistible.  It kept me up all night because I just couldn't put it down.  The subject matter will pull at your heartstrings and want to be with the twins to make the bad guys pay. It is also a full length book,  so their is plenty of time to get hooked. 
I loved every page and can't wait to read the next story.
