Alekzander Tarasov is second in command to the local Russian mob better known as the Bratva. His boss is his uncle but he loves him like a father. The "family " is out celebrating an engagement tonight. Most of them have recently found their marvellous women. Alek was stupid enough to chase his away sixteen months ago and has not felt whole since.
Sacha Urusski came from Russia after her parents died, and a few weeks later met a wonderful man with a fearsome reputation. She fell hopelessly in love with him, but he destroyed her. Now she has seen him again but what she has hidden from him could literally be the death of her.
Our hero, as is fitting for a bratva prince, is used to getting all his own way. Nobody would dare defy him. However these are dangerous times with many enemies about, some obvious and some, where no one would suspect. There is quite a lot of violence in this book ,some smoking hot sex and lots of tears.

This is part of a series that is better read in order. But you could read any of the books on their own.
Before you pick this book up to read get a bottle of your favourite tipple, some snacks and a box of tissues. You will not want to be disturbed. I could not put it down. A very exciting and emotional story. Bring on the next one. I'm guessing it will be Lucien's story.
