She is experienced in emergency and obstetrics care. While discussing the main differences in a human pregnancy to the dragon's main healer, a badly wounded male is brought in.
Rendan was wounded when trying to find a battle partner. While he is being treated he realises his mate is in the room. He is half out of his mind with pain and the female he has never met before is terrified. He must protect her.
This is the forth in the series, you must have read at least the first book in the series to understand our authors world. Our hero is a dragon shifter alien. These dragons are extremely possessive but also very sexy. Our heroine is not really looking for a mate and she certainly doesn't want a military type. A very fast paced, action packed story. Filled with danger, excitement and some hot sex. I am totally addicted to this series.
