Snow Blood Season 2, ( A Vampire Mystery Thriller. ) by Carol McKibben. ARC Review.

Discover the paranormal romance series of the first vampire as it continues with Season 2. Not just the usual vampire story... but one filled with twists , turns and suspense and told through the eyes of a kindred dog.
As dark forces close in on Brogio and his beloved children , the end of all vampires could come from a single blow at any moment.
When Kane sacrifices himself to save Snow Blood, the pack believes he is lost forever. After the devastating loss, a new ever- present threat of destruction surrounding Brogio, the original vampire, threatens his kindred.
While the pack stands guard watching for predators on the outskirts of Brogio´s winery estate, Snow Blood discovers Selene is keeping secrets from Brogio. This deception and Selene´s rapidly growing strength and independence could create a rift between the father of all vampires and his mate.
Snow Blood again helps hold their love together as he tries to protect them from the approaching evil. At the same time , Snow Blood suspects that Nova , the beautiful female wolf that attracts him in the forest, is part of a sinister plot to destroy his master...but he can´t resist her power over him.

This the second of the  Snow Blood  books. I haven't read the first, but that didn't stop me from enjoying this one.
Snow blood  is a vampire dog, it's him that is telling us the story of his master. Brogio is his vampire master, and Selene the masters mate and a moon goddess.
Although Snow and the other dogs in his coven (pack) are vampire the have been given the extra gift of being able to go about in daylight.  They need this to protect the master's home.
Brogio has upset the very dangerous gods, Apollo,  Artemis and Hades. These gods have tricked and tormented Brolio , Selene and Kane (who is Brolio's progeny ). Now someone  has sent the shape shifting vampire hunters with the werewolves to kill Brolio.
This book is non stop action,  with lots of humour, because although Snow can "talk" to his master he still thinks like a dog. The final fight scene is incredible,  and the ending well deserved.  A very enjoyable read.
