Black Magick. ( Magick Series #2) by J.E.Taylor. My Review

Paige Turner is back !
What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in New York city turns sour when she meets a familiar stranger who freezes the blood in her veins. The experience shocks her world, and sends her into a flurry of doubt over everything in her life, from her current relationship, to her skills as a witch.

Did she truly banish a ghost , or just transplant him into a different body...a body primed for revenge?

This is the 2nd book in the Magick series.  It's probably best to read book #1 first. I have not read the 1st one and although I enjoyed the book if I knew the heroine's back story it would have been easier to understand what was happening.
Austin and Paige are in the city because Austin has job interviews to go to. Paige gets him a good luck charm to help him. Austin only half believes in magick and that is because of what happened in their past.
Their past comes back to haunt them, with vengeance in mind.
This book has some very horrific scenes that might be difficult reading for some. We meet some interesting secondary characters, who have incredible powers.
A powerful, magical romance, where the mental strength of our hero and heroine is pushed beyond anyone's limit.
I will certainly be reading the rest of the series.
