Donal MacFalon is the new Laird, and he has sworn to uphold the wolf pact ,an agreement made with England's King HenryVII  to protect Scotland's wolf shifters.
He knows the wolf in the trap is wulven but he is interrupted by some other men before he can get her down.
The Wulven are in greater danger than they know. Donal is a brave and honest man, very different from his brother the former Laird.  He will do all he can for them especially Kirstin.  There are so many reasons that Kirstin and Donal can not be together. Not least the fact that there are certain times when Kirstin can not control her shift.  Can they survive, and be together?  Or will they start a war. ?

This is the second book in the  series.  It would be fine to read on it's own,  but better read after the other.. It's a book with non stop action and hot sexy scenes.
