MY REVIEW: ★★★★
Izzy has been sinking into depression and loneliness since the death of her Grams. She has decided it's time to drag herself back to a more normal life. Work as a bicycle messenger,  and then going home to an empty house cannot be all there is. 
Kennan works at the nearby bar, and once he meets Izzy he pushes to make sure he is her best friend. and guardian.He knows more about Izzy than she does herself.  
Strange things are happening around Izzy,  soon she will find out the truth about her past and herself.  
Will that be before the bad guy gets her or after?  
The secondary characters are a mixed bunch. Some like Molly and Ian are funny. Others like Conall and Aberto are intense. There is so much danger and drama in Izzy's life even her dreams are not restful. Much more than just her own welfare is at risk if she fails .
Izzy is a good strong heroine. One our author is determined to torture.  Kennan is a wonderful,  loving and strong hero. But he doesn't escape our cruel author's torture.  There is romance in this story but it's a clean read. No strong language or sex scenes.  
I read this set straight through, to get my review done in time. You might want to break it up into the separate books.
